Progress...(long post)

I've been in close contact with a couple who owned a ceramic shop in San Diego for many years. They are coming to the point in their life that they can no longer pour large molds or use most of their equipment (this is how the industry slowed so badly from the early 2000's; Our generation didn't hold the interest like those before us, tragically). We purchased a few molds from them long ago and have since established a friendship through our love for the craft and similar life circumstances. They will be donating all equipment, supplies, molds, and glazes that they own. This couple is not the first to donate items from their previously well-known, successful ceramic businesses. We are so blessed and grateful to be a part of this community of ceramic slip casters. I'd never have imagined finding so many professionals who want to see us succeed by donating goods, offering advice and support whenever it's needed. I think I'm still in shock by everyone's generosity. We don't know how to thank them enough or show just how truly appreciated they are!

Of course, ceramic molds and equipment do take up a lot of space. Therefore, not only are we saving these treasured items from the landfills (many are no longer in production), we're keeping the industry alive for younger generations, and clearing space for those no longer in the hobby/ business industry so they can use their spaces for other purposes. Totally win win for all.

This week is going to be hot, weather wise. Next week is projected to be cooler. We'll use the time this week to finish arranging around our home so we can function within our business again very soon. Our original target date was 9/1, but there have been some unforeseen delays. Muscle tears, biopsies, heart attack, missing help, and sadly, death. We'll be back up and active shortly!!

If you've come here via direct access, please begin accessing this blog via our business website hartsinfyre.com. From the home page, click "Blog" and it will bring you back here (unless you're already a registered blog member who receives post updates). Also, while on the website, you can place to go kit orders, send massages, schedule consultations for custom items, and schedule events to be held at your chosen location. (All specific requests must be in writing).

Our first event of 5 will be held at Fusion Rose Event Center on 10/30. We'll have a selection of Halloween, Fall, and Christmas items available for purchase. This event's offerings will include Christmas Trees (vintage molds, brand new trees complete with lights), keychains, jewelry (necklaces and earrings), coasters (ceramic and resin options) and any additional items that will fit into our booth. It's gonna be packed y'all!! Be sure to add it to your calendars now so you don't miss it. If you have any special requests for color or items you'd like to see, drop me a quick message. No deposits or obligation required.

Tiktok is my most active social media platform right now. Find us at hartsinfyre3633 (business stuff) or TheBullyBunch2021 (about our dogs and personal posts).

If you aren't on tiktok, it's ok! We also have pages on Google, Instagram, and Facebook that are being picked back up so you can see what's happening with H'Arts in Fyre. If you Google our business name as it's spelled, you'll have no problem finding us.

The keys to the studio were turned in this morning. We no longer have access to the space. It's definitely bittersweet, in that, we made some amazing memories, met some terrific new friends, and saw incredible creations come from our kilns. We will miss all of these most of all. So be sure to keep ordering to go kits, booking parties, and dropping quick notes to let us know how you are!

The shop phone is being transferred to a cell phone today. No change in the number. Now you are welcome to text, anytime! Also, because of having a new ip, I will be back on Facebook so I can monitor the business page and receive/respond to your messages again. (Yay!) Feel free to send friend requests or like/follow the business page.

If you've read this entire post, thank you (I know it's been a long one)! If you have any questions or needs, don't hesitate to reach out.

Love n light-T ❤
